Spring Energized Seal

Spring energized seal is a spring-driven pressure assisted combine with PTFE jacket sealing ring, which is specially equipped with a corrosion-resistant metal energized spring to achieve a spring-reinforced sealing. When the PTFE sealing ring is installed in a sealing groove, the spring is pressed to make the lip of the jacket close to the sealing groove, thus forming a sealing. Spring provides permanent elastic force to PTFE jacket ring and compensates for material wear and offset or eccentricity of matching parts. System pressure also assists in energy storage in the sealing jacket. Through the spring elasticity assisted by system pressure, effective sealing can be achieved under either high or low pressure.
